Lilia is a widowed seamstress who, after a visit to her daughter’s belly-dancing class, is unexpectedly introduced to a new world in which she rediscovers herself.
Satin Rouge will be preceded by the short film If I Wasn’t Muslim(Bosnia, Dir. Damir Niksic, 2004, 6min) about a Bosnian man who sings a humorous song about being the only Muslim in a predominantly Christian country.
In Arabic and French with English subtitles.
