Shot in breathtaking IMAX, Journey to Mecca is the extraordinary story of Ibn Battuta and his epic 1325 journey from Morocco to the sacred city of Mecca.

Five days a year, 3 million Muslims make the pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca—fulfilling the fifth pillar of Islam known as the Hajj. As the camera soars over vast Sahara sands of Ibn Buattuta's route, alongside caravans stretching to the horizon and finally enters the Grand Mosque itself, viewers are able to witness the spectacular pageant of devotion and one of the longest running gatherings of people on earth.
